Our Story

Founded in 1914 by the Rev Morley Bright we have provided everyday adventure for hundreds of children for over a hundred years.

We moved to our current headquarters during the 1980’s and now have over 60 youth members. We are self supporting group with fundraising events throughout the year to help provide new equipment, maintain the hall and ensure a great experience for our youth members.

We continue to grow and look forward to providing more camps, more activities, and more adventure for the next hundred years.

Self Supporting

We rely heavily on the support of leaders and parents to raise funds to cover the costs of running, maintaining and developing the group.

Everyday Adventure

Made of Volunteers

Everyone of the leaders, committee members and parent helpers are volunteers. We rely on their support, and welcome new helpers.
