In warm sunshine on Sunday 26th April, over 200 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers parading through the streets of Loscoe in celebration of St. George’s Day. During the church service everyone renewed their Scout promise for the year ahead.

Also during the 1st Loscoe organised church service members of 1st Loscoe explained the meaning of the different parts of the world membership badge.

Bill Hutchinson formed leader at Ripley and District Commissioner and current District Executive Committee member was awarded with the Silver Wolf. The highest award an adult can receive in Scouting for outstanding services to Scouting.

After the church service the District paraded back along the road to Charles Hill Car Park where the parade was dismissed.
