Cubs Hike for Sport Relief

13 March 2016

20 Cubs and Scouts from Ripley and Codnor hiked around Carsington Water Reservoir this weekend to help raise money for Sport Relief accompanied by parents we started at Sheepwash car park at 10am, and walked clockwise around the reservoir and a fast pace with a total party of 38 people.

When we got to visitor centre we had our lunch and a hour playing on the play area and then continued on with the walk back to the cars.

In total we walked 12km the furthest a lot of the Cubs had walked before. Once we have a total for the amount that the Cubs managed to raise we’ll let you know.
