A Beaver has the opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoors activity including the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers.

Beaver Leader Earns Her Stripes

Our new Beaver Leader, Julie Ann, has completed her adult training and was awarded her wood badge last week at Ripley and Heanor Districts Beaver Toy service. A wood badge is awarded after an adult had completed all of their training, giving them the skills they need to provide Skills for Life to Ripley’s Beaver Scouts.  Sarah Allen, lead volunteer for Ripley and Heanor said “A wood badge represents a lot of hard work in a volunteers own time, and it’s really great to acknowledge Julie Ann’s effort.” If you would be interested in lending a helping hand why not drop us an email at... read more
