Falcon Pack May 2016

We have been working towards the World Challenge badge this month by going on a walk around Ripley to see what services local people could use. We spotted the library, the park, the ambulance station and lots more. One of the Cubs spotted 60 things! We finished off at Ripley’s Fish and Chip Shop at the bottom of Oxford Street where we all had chips. A couple of the Cubs finished painting the head we have made from paper mache, while everyone else made lots and lots of paper ribbons which we will use whenever anyone gets a badge, they can write their name and the badge they have got and stick it to the totem pole. We finished May off with a weekend full of adventure at Walesby Forest for their Cubs100 camp. Three nights camping over 30 different activities, and not a lot of sleeping. The leaders now have 28 badges to give out...
