Our new Beaver Leader, Julie Ann, has completed her adult training and was awarded her wood badge last week at Ripley and Heanor Districts Beaver Toy service.

A wood badge is awarded after an adult had completed all of their training, giving them the skills they need to provide Skills for Life to Ripley’s Beaver Scouts.

Sarah Allen, lead volunteer for Ripley and Heanor said “A wood badge represents a lot of hard work in a volunteers own time, and it’s really great to acknowledge Julie Ann’s effort.”
