Our sixties subcamp weren’t on the main activities today. Instead we were competing in sports competitions. We had a team in the football and wheelchair basketball.
After the football had finished a helicopter was spotted in the air. Bringing UK Chief Scout Bear Grylls to the campsite. We were all around the stage so got a good view when he came on stage. One of our scouts even got an autograph on his t-shirt.
In the afternoon after sandwiches everyone went off again taking part in various activities such as abseiling, crate stacking, and craft activities.
Even the leaders got involved with a go on the digger challenge and a chocolatiering course.
For tea we had a Sunday roast and then went off around the site for the disco and cover bands on the main stage.
